Training Log 10.1.23

Training: This was the second week of A2S 1.0 mixed with the cardio program from strength and 10k. Squat 405×10, 375×10, 345×18. Bench 260×10, 240×10, 225×21. Clean 205x3x6. OHP 170×10, 160×10, 150×20. Things overall felt fine. By the end of the week my body wasn’t feeling great and training was marginal.

Running: 4 sessions. Long, recovery, intervals, and tempo intervals. This is starting to feel better.

BJJ: 4 sessions. Past week was on heel hooks. Always makes me a little concerned because there’s a lot of novices. Right ankle was a little inflamed after the Wednesday session. Feel fine now. Open mat day was fun.

Diet: Trash, too much beer and need to reduce this significantly.

Sleep: Average sleep was 7:09. Felt fine from a rest perspective but I was less consistent with my sleep cycle.

Stress: Mentally in a rut that’s extended the past couple weeks.

Learning: Little disappointed I found out I wouldn’t be starting ILE Phase II for a couple weeks and was hoping to knock this out. Working through ACLM board review course. Still working through the rise and fall of the third reich. It’s interesting and unfortunately I do see several parallels with the current state of affairs.
