Training 2.9.21

Training: Week 11 Average to Savage 1.0. This week I was down again. Physically I thought I was getting better, but my lungs still aren’t back and I’m feeling a little beat up. I think this came from a lack of sleep and rebounding. OHP hit 150×10, Sumo Dead 550×2, Squat 405×10, Bench 275×10. All of these seemed like 3-5 reps off previous best numbers. Weight is sitting around 205. As the intensity has picked up I feel like I’m hitting more of a wall.

BJJ: Got 5 sessions in the past week. Maybe this is why strength and cardio just felt off. Rolling has been stagnant. Don’t feel overly tuned in when I’ve been training:

Sleep/Stress: Sleep was down with 7:11 in bed and 6:22 asleep. HRV is improved at 122. Readiness was up for the first time in a while. I still mentally feel like I’m not recovering like I want to be.

Learning: Finished one of the mental model books from the knowledge project. The American Ulysses book has been really fun to listen to. I’d like to add more biographies. Reading was a lot more consistent.
