Insights:
Classic leadership text that has simple and practical advise. People care more about themselves than you, as such seek to know them and they’ll be more receptive to your suggestions. Avoid arguments and criticism. Become interested in other people and greet them with a smile. Let the other person save face. This book reminds me of the wisdom of Earl Nightengale. I’m uncertain why we default away from these actions as it seems intuitive. I continue to fall into traps identified, which inhibits my ability to be successful in relationship building.
