Training:
Week 3 of the operator template. Trained MWF – Squats 470x3x3, Bench 290x3x3, clean and press 195x2x3, DB farmers 100x100m x 2, ab wheel bw x10x2. Training felt better this week. Trained at a new gym and the bars had no knurling which made the squats very challenging just to hold. Don’t have a solution for this over the next couple months.
Run:
3 runs this week. 2-45 min LSS and 1 60 min LSS.
BJJ:
Pick up my car tomorrow and should be back on the mats this week, which I’m very much looking forward to.
Stress:
Mixed. Still adjusting to the new location. Uncertain about my upcoming role. Still struggling with setting a new routine. It took me a couple days to get over jet lag. Still don’t have a sleep schedule locked down.
Sleep:
Average 6:44 time asleep. This is improved. Sleep quality has been a little mixed. Hoping that I can get this locked down.
Learning:
Finished Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport. Did a couple A4M lectures and will finish the GI course tonight. Slogging through ILE Phase I. About 50% done with Risk by Stanley McCrystal. I need to be consistent with maintaining my medical education. I don’t know why I don’t feel like working through A4M is enough. It’s probably because my clinical volume has dropped so significantly.
