Training:
Started tactical barbells operator template. Squat 405x5x3, Bench 260x5x3, Clean and press 185x3x3, pull ups bw x 5×9. Felt ok. I did like that the workouts were quick.
Runs:
3 runs – all just LSS for 30 minutes. Wanted to ease into the new program and restart more consistent running. When the base is built I plan on doing 1 TB high intensity, 1 tempo run and 1 long run. I’ll see how my body feels over the next couple weeks before implementing.
BJJ:
1 session. Haven’t been home and likely won’t train until next weekend based on where I’ll be. Hopefully can find a consistent group once I get to my next location.
Sleep:
Averaging 7 hours a night. Improved from before.
Stress:
Mixed. Has very high stress and things that have continued to carry over, but overall it’s much lower not being at home. It’s a strange feeling. No immediate pressing concerns, which is the first time it’s been that way in a long time. I’m off work for a while and have concerns about losing clinical skills.
Learning:
Reading a ton. Have had a lot more down time. Been working through ILE, finished John Payne’s the Emergence of I, finished Dan John’s Easy Strength Omnibook. Working through the sleep stress and recovery course, career blueprint and A4M. It’s a lot of material and I just need to write out a pretty in depth plan.
