Training: Week 5 Average 2 Savage 1.0
Training this week felt really good and I don’t have an explanation of why it went well. Squat 405×10, 370×10, 345×27. Bench 255×10, 235×10, 225×21. Deads 435×16, 435x6x3. OHP was 170×10, 155×10, 145×22. Body feels pretty good. Accessories were standard.
Running:
Ran a mile and a half following each lift. 3 quick sessions and this felt really good today. Just trying to get more consistent with this. I’ve been doing jacobs ladder for 5 minutes as a general warm up and then finishing with the run to be more in line with the ACFT.
BJJ:
3 sessions this week. Next week will likely be 4-5. I’m curious to see how that goes next week. Were working de la jiva and single leg X. About got my hip ripped off on Thursday.
Sleep:
Sleep is up about 30 min this week to 6:23 average time asleep and time in bed is 6:58. I still would like to be in bed for 7:30. I don’t see that being realistic. I’m shooting to go to bed earlier, but feel I’m a month out from that until my wife is done breastfeeding.
Stress:
Feels down and I’m uncertain if that’s just today or what’s going on. Tuesday felt like I didn’t agree with a meal or something because I threw up a couple hours after and temp was up. Average HR this year is up and this a continuation after the last month or two in 2022.
Learning:
I’m content with the progress made this year. Started A4Ms course and have been averaging a lecture per day. I should get through each module in about a month or so. This should be helpful if I don’t get into ILE until March. I’m about done with the second book this year which is Made in America on Sam Walton. I’ve really enjoyed going through that.
