Training Log 9.18.22

Training:
Just finished week 3 of average to savage 1.0. I went back to this program because my training felt stagnant. I was doing the movement, but not following any sort of periodization. At this time of life I feel like I was just getting the minimum in, because I’m short on time. It wasn’t enough so I went back to a templated program. It’s felt really good the past couple weeks. This week my last rep sets were 225×21 on bench, 345×22 on squat, 475×7 on sumo deads, and 130×19 on OHP.

BJJ:
Been getting three sessions in a week and hitting the competition class most weeks which has felt great. Strained my right oblique or reaggravated my rib cartilage.

Running:
Been hitting the mile prior to training and hitting 2-3 runs a week, but missing the log run. Introducing some rucks a day a week which has felt good.

Sleep:
Been horrible over the past couple weeks. Been about 6 hours a night.

Stress:
Just a lot of work right now, which is part of the process. Still trying to find a good environment and struggle with the fact that it will ultimately come down to making it myself.
