Training:
This past week of training went pretty well. I need to reorganize the days I do what lifts. I did the deadlift day on Thursday and was still sore on Saturday. I’ll flip those days. I need to look up the percents again for the lifts according to tactical barbell. My training split over the next 9-12 weeks will be as follows
M: Recovery – light run or BJJ
Tu: SSB squat, bench, WPU
W: BJJ
Th: Squat, OHP, clean
F: BJJ
Sat: BJJ, Front Squat, Incline Bench, Deads
Sun: long steady state run
This past week I was doing 335×5 SSB, 385×5 squat, 275×5 front squat, 275×5 bench, 155×5 OHP, 205×5 incline, WPU 50×5, 205×3 clean, deads sumo/convo 405×5,5. I got back on track with the running just getting the days in.
BJJ: trained 3x this past week and was glad I got training in on the weekend.
Running: hit the recovery, long and tempo run. Still low motivation for the tempo and just need to do it.
Learning: did better this week with lectures, podcasts and chapters for the board tests on lifestyle and obesity medicine in the fall. Will likely do the A4M curriculum and/or the Kalish course starting after in the fall with some military education.
