Training log 5.1.22

Training:
This was the testing week for the lifts. It’s week 4 of average to savage 1.0. I hit 415×14 on squat, 275×14 on bench, 170×12 on OHP, and the deadlift was the deload 435x3x5. Supplemental lifts were 405x5x3 rack pull, db press 60x6x3, 245x6x3 front squat, and 225x6x3 close grip bench. Testing week went fine. Body feels good.

Running:
My right calf has been healing up. Still doesn’t feel close to 100%. Getting the running days in, but don’t feel like the intensity is where it needs to be for the test in 2 weeks. Hopeful I can keep my endurance up and get this calf to keep healing.

BJJ:
5x this past week. Was disappointed that I didn’t have time to go to the Josh Barnett Seminar this weekend as I’d like to learn some catch wrestling. Glad I’ve had the ability to increase the intensity of my training.

Sleep:
Total time asleep is down again this week to 6:18 with a time in bed of 7:03. This needs to improve.

Stress:
Up over the past week. Just trying to prepare for an upcoming business training trip and get everything organized for that. Have changes coming up with my clinical practice. Wife went back to work after her maternity leave. Up significantly over the past week.

Learning:
Working through the ACLM and ABOM board review courses. I think those are both nice things to keep me consistent. Don’t have a great routine for everything else as I’m trying to organize my life.
