Training Log 4.9.22

Training: Transitioned to Average to Savage 1.0 and the Complete human performance 5k training. The CHP 5k template comes from their powerlifting + 5k template. I’ve had a good response to the average to savage in the past and have probably run this program 3-4 times previously. It’s long and typically I get tired of it around week 12 of 16. Current training goal is to do well on the ACFT that I have next month. Squats I hit 335×12, 315×12, 305×25; Bench 225×12, 215×12, 195×23; Deads were 425×12,8×3; and OHP of 135×12, 125×12, 115×20. The run was a 20 min tempo run, intervals, long run and recovery run. Was sore as hell this week from the volume and change of program

BJJ: Got 3 training sessions this past week. Didn’t feel good most of the week and took a day off. Not content with how my trainings been going, but thinking big picture things are fine.

Sleep: Total time asleep was up to 6:39. This is an improvement from the prior week which is nice. Time in bed was back up to 7:29. This is where I want to be and I’m glad I’m closer that that 7:30 I shoot for.

Stress: Up. Still dealing with trying to figure out my work situation. Not really content with my current situation and currently working to change it.

Learning: Have continued to do Duolingo and read the Bible every morning. Back on track with the podcasts and chapter reading. Still behind on getting the journal in on the weekend. Continuing to get some of the Chek course in and planning the structured learning over the remainder of the year.
