Training Log 1.15.22

Training: 

This week was a little bit of a wake up. The week prior I was increasing the weights and the sets were increasing with ease. This week I felt like trash all week. Energy was down and I hit minimal sets on every day but yesterday. I don’t know what’s up with the stress. Still hitting front squats, bench, weighted pull ups. Power cleans and deads once a week. I know I was sick and wasn’t sleeping well the past couple weeks and I feel like it caught up with me. Running training has been bare level as well. 

BJJ: 

6 training days this past week and this may be contributing to the over training. Felt fine every day except for this morning. Didn’t warm up enough and just started training. Now I’m feeling beat up. 

Sleep: 

Total time asleep was up last week to 6:39 a night with time in bed of 7:53. I was falling asleep early and this was increasing the time in bed. Still don’t feel rested and as though I’ve been in a debt the past couple weeks. 

Stress: 

Up at home and at work. Not ready for the kid that’s on the way. Feel like I have a lot to do at work. HRV has been up and down with the resting HR a little higher than normal. Diets been very poor. 

Learning: Doing HLC 2 courses 4-5 days a week, been reading a lot. Was able to read every day last week which helps me feel productive.
