Training: Week 8 Average to Savage 1.0. This was the second testing week which went pretty well. It was light on the deads with 410x3x5, squats were 450×8, bench was 300×8, and OHP was 160×7. The Overhead press is a movement I continue struggling with. I just don’t feel like it improves on a weekly basis.
BJJ: Didn’t get to train over the weekend so the total days was only 3 days last week. Currently going over submissions from the half guard when someone has an under hook. It fits well into my game which makes me happy.
Sleep: Sleep was improved over the past week. Average time in bed was 7:36 and time asleep was 6:43 with a sleep score of 72.
Stress: Up and down. The stress went way up on some days and was much lower than normal on the down days. HRV was back up to 112 with an average readiness score of 77.1.
Diet: Still dry and I’m feeling better than last week. Been working on cutting snacks and spending on my work days so I’ve been packing protein bars. It’s really a means to decrease spending and not buy as much junk. I think implementing this habits is more challenging than I assumed it would be.
Learning: Still working through Robert Greene’s War book. Did a good job reading this weekend which felt great. Still not getting the time I want to write. I need to be more purposeful with my continued learning.
