Training Log 1.5.21

Training: Week 6 Average to Savage 1.0. The second week of the micro cycles has continued to feel good. Still setting rep max PR’s consistently and using past rep maxes to guide training goals. Generally, I’m cutting it off when the form goes to trash or when I’m above that rep max number. As I did my deadlift training late last week, this week I opted for a band work dynamic day and did 315 with monster mini for 6 sets of 3. Squat 340×21, Bench 230×22, and OHP 125×20. Motivation is fine. I’m not content with how the accessory work is going. I’ve added weight and continued to hit the reps alright.

BJJ: We restart training as of “normal” tomorrow. With weekend obligations I won’t get to training this weekend which sucks. The past month my training days have gone down a lot which is not what I wanted. I’m just excited for some normalcy again.

Sleep: Past couple nights have sucked because I watched a TV show before bed that got me all jacked up. It’s been amazing how much that’s impacted it.

Stress: It’s been ok getting back to work after the holidays.

Diet: Won’t be drinking over the month of January which shot my HRV up and HR down. Hoping to clean up more of the diet throughout the rest of the month as well.

Learning: Read more this morning. Working through the 33 laws of war by Robert Greene which was been Fun.
