Training 11.24.20

Training: Average to Savage 2.0 Week 14: Deload week – Transitions are always hard and I think I’m going to complete another 14 weeks using the average to Savage 1.0 template. I’ll be training Tues, Fri, Sat, Sunday. The deload week was fine, but I could tell I needed to recover, even with the lower weights things didn’t seem to be flying. Moving into the next program I’m hopeful that I can keep the workouts moving. I like the running program that I’ve been doing pre and post workout. I’d like to continue that going forward. I need to figure out what I want to do for accessory work in conjunction with this program. We’ll see how it goes.

BJJ: Training has been going well. Doing more no-gi this week. Focus continues to be lacking.

Sleep: Last week was the worst week of the month in terms of total sleep and sleep time. Readiness and HRV was down. Will work to improve this going forward. Average time was 7:28 with sleep time of 6:36 and HRV of 91.3. Felt like I was overtrained and HRV was down by about 20.

Stress: Very much mixed. On call with work. The holidays will be weird with the restrictions. I just feel lost overall.

Diet: Overall improved. Still cooking vast majority of meals

Learning: Finished Skin in the Game and started Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism. have been working through the Cornell Obesity Medicine Course and have not been this impressed with the quality of the material in a long time.
