Training Log 10.27.20

Workout: Average to Savage 2.0 Week 9. Load/Intensity is up and I felt a little more beat up than last week. Hitting all the goal numbers consistently, and continuing to work to beat the rep numbers from weeks past. I still think that this program is lacking the weighted carries and single leg work. Those things I need to find a way to implement without adding too much volume. Continuing to work on making these workouts efficient. I like the combining two main movements to limit total rest and speed the workout. Been consistent adding 5 min run to beginning and end of the workout. Top sets: Dead 475×10, Front Squat 295×10, Bench 290×9, Squat 425×8, OHP 185×10

BJJ: Trained 6 days this past week and over feel alright. Been working the knee bar and had some knee issues last Wednesday. Just monitoring output and trying to avoid straining my neck.

Sleep: Time in bed was down again to 7:05 and time asleep was 6:15. This drop was felt a little bit more. Sleep score was more or less stable over the past week.

Stress: has been up and down. I feel disconnected and I’m ready for our vacation that starts next week.

Diet: Improved. Been adding more veggies in and trying to make better food choices around lunch. Fasting a little bit more, which I can’t tell if it’s good or bad.

Learning: Finished Rational Optimist which I really enjoyed. Doing my normal podcast rotation. Have a couple more weeks of IFM studying before the test.
