Workout: Average to Savage 2.0 Week 8. First week coming back from the deload. Was a little sore after the first training day, but things have gone well thus far. My goal is to beat my past rep PR from the previous week. I try doing this with all of the sets. I’ve been successful with all of the sets this week. I’ve been coupling some of the upper and lower lifts to make the lifts more efficient. I’m uncertain if that’s helped or hurt anything to date.
BJJ: Was off this past weekend with drill, but have overall been consistent. Feeling much more comfortable with the leglock game this month than in years past. I feel it’s been valuable working different leg entanglements and figuring out how to enter those positions.
Sleep: Time in bed is up to 7:30 and time asleep is up again to 6:30. I attribute the poor HRV secondary to increased drinking. I feel like I’m having 1-2 per night which isn’t helping anything.
Stress: Was really bad over the weekend and has improved a little over the past couple days. I was frustrated with work and other obligations.
Diet: Continues to be poor due to a lack of planning
Learning: Have been working through the IFM textbook and review course. Working through the Rational Optimist Now.
