Week 5 Average to Savage 2.0
Workout: I’m always impressed how quickly my endurance comes back. The weights have been increasing appropriately and I feel like my stability and conditioning has gone up well. The work capacity phase has been a nice place to start and I think I’m returning to my old shape. This week went 405×8 on squats, 265×11 on bench, and 435×11 on deads. The bench is still lagging and I think that took the most hit taking 6 months off. I’m still struggling with the push and overhead press as well.
BJJ: Had another good week of training. Neck felt a little sore last week and that’s turned around. I think some of that had to do with turtle in the morning.
Sleep: Overall feels improved. But time in bed was the lowest of the month as well as total sleep time.
Stress: HR was up on average by 2-3 bpm to 41 and HRV was stable at 108. Had a lot of stress this past week that improved over the weekend.
Diet: Have done some time restricted eating days, eating more veggies, overall it’s been marginal. Still drinking more than I would like.
Learning: Still doing IFM, finished lifespan, almost through Innovators Dilemma.
